People, Not Money, Moving From California To Texas
This is an interesting analysis of the economic and demographic migration between California and Texas. The high cost of living in California and recent tax hikes have many Californians contemplating a move. Governor Perry has offered to take in all those disgruntled west coast businesses and the tax dollars that come with them. This analysis suggests that most wealthy Californians don’t mind the re-inflation of housing and the high tax rates along the Pacific coast. As it turns out, lower income households are more likely to make the move to Texas.
