Canada’s Mattamy Homes, North America’s largest privately-owned builder is acquiring the Dallas-Fort Worth operations of New Synergy Homes. New Synergy is a division of Centurion American Development Group currently building homes in the northern DFW metroplex. Mattamy’s acquisition will give the company ownership and control of over 3400 homesites in 26 different communities.

New Synergy is currently building new homes in 10 different Dallas-Fort Worth communities, primarily north of the city of Dallas. New Synergy is building single-family detached offerings from the $300s, as well as a number of townhomes in these DFW communities…

Preliminary data for the Dallas-Fort Worth area show another spectacular month for new home sales in October. With resale inventory near record lows in North Texas, new home builders have been experiencing a uniquely good opportunity. Mattamy Homes is apparently keen to join the party while it lasts.
