The BLS February employment report was a big disappointment in terms of the number of jobs added, but Denton County continues to see solid employment growth. So far in 2019 the trend of more jobs in the area is still intact. The Dallas-Fort Worth area is still churning out jobs, and that is certainly welcome news considering the larger macroeconomic backdrop. Zillow Offers Coming To Dallas, Company Losses Widen

Zillow Offers are reportedly coming to the Dallas market sometime in 2019. The internet giant/real estate portal will reportedly be expanding its Zillow Offers iBuyer program to sellers in the DFW market sometime this year. Zillow's version of the cash offer buy-your-home-at-a-discount service is already operational in several markets including Phoenix, Vegas, Atlanta, Denver and Charlotte. Dallas-Fort Worth employment numbers show that the DFW economy was still on solid footing in December. While local job growth has been slowing a bit, the economy has been rather resilient. Denton County Home Sales Continue Sliding In October

Denton County Texas home sales continued to slide in October as the real estate market softened throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dallas TX Employment Engine Sheds 59,000 Jobs In January Turnover

The Dallas TX employment engine was misfiring as we headed into 2018. Recently revised figures from the Texas Workforce Commission show the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington MSA shedding 59,000 jobs in January.
